The highest governing body of Tagoloan Community College is the Board of Trustees.  As the college is under the Local Government Unit, the incumbent mayor is automatically the chairperson of the Board.  It is composed of the Chairperson, the College President as Vice Chairperson, and the ten (10) members;

·    The President of the Supreme Student Council

·    The President of the Alumni Association

·    The Chairperson of the Committee on Education-Sangguniang Bayan

·    A representative of the Education Sector

·    A representative of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities

·    A representative of the Private/Business Sector

·    A representative of the Congressional Office

·    A representative of the Congressional Office-Alternate Representative

·    A representative of the Professional Sector
