Clad in their notably hued and distinguished togas, 666 graduates marched down the aisle during the second day of the 18th Commencement Exercises, June 22, at the Tagoloan dome.
With the theme โTrailblazers of Tomorrow: Empowering Minds Towards Innovation and Transformation,โ the ceremony was not just a celebration of academic achievements but a bold statement of TCCโs commitment to forging students equipped to shape the future.
Present in the ceremony were Congressman Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano, Hon. Atty. Nadya B. Emano-Elipe, the Board of Trustees, College Deans, Program Heads, faculty, and staff of Tagoloan Community College who showed support for the graduating students.
Yesterdayโs graduation guest of honor and commencement speaker is Hon. Camille Lydia A. Villar, who delivered her words of encouragement to the second batch of the Class of 2024.
โThere is nothing wrong with failure...nothing wrong with mistakes, that is a part of life. What is important is what you do with your mistakes and trials. Marami pa ang pagkakataon na madadapa tayo [at] pagsubok na haharapin [kaya] bangon lang,โ she said.
โLearn from your mistakes, pick yourself up, and move one step at a time, one day at a time. Let us persevere [and] never give up. I guarantee you, nothing is impossible,โ she added.
Moreover, 26 Cum Laudes have received recognition and awards among the 1 209 graduates in total.
Thus, the event was more than a ceremony; it was a clarion call to those who will define tomorrow with their ideas, innovations, and indomitable spirit.
